Home alone

Most 19 year olds would be ecstatic that their parents are on holiday and have the house to themselves. I'm pretty sure that most of them would have had a party by now. But then again, im not most 19 year olds.

When i finished work yesterday i found myself alone in the house, except for my dog that i'm looking after. After i took of my coat on put my bag down i found myself unsure with what to do with myself. I decided to watch a film - and then realised ive watched all of my dvds about 5 times already. So i decided i'd read a book - but im still waiting for The Sparhawk series to arrive and i had my heart set on reading that. Therefore, i went downstairs to play on my nintendo wii - which decided not to work...great. So i switched my laptop on, and found myself bored; i checked my emails, facebook and if the manga series im reading was updated. It was't. So i sat down on my leather reclining sofa's (which i always manage to brag about - even on livejournal) and resigned myself to watch the telly. I don't watch telly. So i flicked through the channels and , surprise surprise, nothing took my fancy.

At this point i decided that some alcohol was needed to get me through the night. So off i went to Morrisons which i bout some malabu (coconut rum) and some ice cream. When i got in i switched the telly on, again, and decided to rent a movie of virgin on demand. Which took me about an hour. I finally settled on a comedy called 'How to loose friends and alienate people' with simon pegg in. It was surprisingly good, and for 2 hours i forgot i was bored. Untill it finished.

I ended up in bed at 11 0'clock on a saturday night. I just really hope its not like this for the rest of the week. I'll end up killing myself with boredom.
